A few niggles to sort but other than that it’s in good nick for an 80s trailer tent.

Great design and practicality but a bloody awful colour scheme :D

  10. It wasn’t musty like I was expecting
Just a distinct bouncy castle smell from the pvc roof and sides.

  13. It’s very simple but thought out in its design
I need to replace the rope through the roof and all the elastic shock cord as it’s shot
But I am happy not to be kneeling down hammering pegs in or bending over pulling them out.

  18. Yup the covering is made of the same stuff as truck side curtains 100% wind and waterproof
It’s two layers with a layer of insulating foam in between
There’s vents in the front door and the rear wooden section as well as an opening window at the rear to take care of ventilation.
Some of them came with a floor mounted gas heater

  19. Someone had bust the hinge on the door at some point bending the hinge then ripping the screws and rivets out.
It seems they tried to repair it without putting the hinge back into shape and drilling new holes for the rivets that joined up with the original holes.
As you can guess it didn’t hold and mangled everything further.
When I went to view it it had a random mixture of wood screws shoved in it.

The easiest solution was to remove a good hinge so I could use it as a guide to reshape the mangled hinge.
Then just re mount it slightly lower down.
It’s all good and functional now I just need to seal up/hide the previous damage.
I’ll probably drill out the holes in the door slightly larger and knock some dowel in and maybe stick a reflector over the damage left in the trailer.
One each side and nobody will be the wiser.
