dormobile roof

    someone on here must have sizes of a normal dormobile roof as in measurements between the top canvass fixings from side to side and front to back hope it measure the same as my roof with 2 windows and 1 large vent please help me :help-sos: :help-sos: :help-sos: :help-sos: :help-sos: :help-sos: :help-sos: :help-sos: :help-sos: :help-sos: :help-sos: :help-sos: :help-sos:

    finnaly getting there sits on nicely just checking the canvass bolt measures same as a normal dormobile roof :dance: 1200 wide by 1950 long
     
  9. i had a dormobile on mine but don't have that anymore so I can't help much...still got the old roof if you know of anyone who wants it?? Lol x

    i only need some measurments but depends on condition lots people on here looking for them they go mad on ebay when you put one on ,
    i drove to north yorks for mine and paid 300 quid thanks but would help if someone can measure theire one thank you
    ps i must be mad

    Emma - would you be able to measure the length of the metal strips that hold the canvas to the roof? One lengthways and one across.
     
  12. The roof is stored at the garage where Mol was done up so haven't got it to hand, when o.take mol back in Jan I'll try measure them... Not sure what's there and what isn't really... :S but will try x

  14. Haha I somehow doubt they will be open Sunday otherwise I would have gone for you :S I think mines a dormobile anyway... [​IMG]

  16. I prefer the style I have now... Although I wish it didn't have the box bit on the front...and think the dormobile looks cuter... So wish I hadn't for cosmetic but for practicality for me to do myself its much easier... I went with O'connors campers they are fantastic actually perfect fit and lovely material x

    looks real nice thats the colour my wife wants our one , cant wait to get done im so inpatient and i will get done for my first summer this year

    Those O'conners roofs are top-notch, but eeking expensive!
    What was hard about the Dormobile one? The one I had virtually sprang up on it's own??? And when they're up, the sense of space inside and the light they let in is luxury. I went to a lot of trouble to fit mine, then had to sell the bus to pay some bills. :(
