I did have a chuckle as I wrote them out but I guess we are more practical classics now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I like the idiosyncrasies of the auto correct… newbies to the forum would probably get it and it encourages them to learn about the idiosyncrasies of the forum!
Be careful not to take the heart out of it! The autocorrects are part of our lighthearted humour. If people don't like it, there are plenty of boring forums available. I would suggest the term "what oil" should be replaced with "I am new to this forum!".
No keep them all it’s a bit of fun life’s to serious as it is. It’s made even funnier when someone gets their knickers in a twist about it.
This is going to be contentious, but get rid of the like button, it makes it too much like Farcebook.
I guess I do. And I am equally just as certain that a responsible forum mod, such as your goodself, would have studied the effects of the like button, as per Farcebook, before you enabled that feature Only here, you aren't selling advertising, so it doesn't really have a business purpose, either
Pretty sure we had it first. I only joined FB in 2011 or something so didn’t know about it. Pressing like is purely to say you like or agree with what had been posted, there’s no outside reason, it’s as simple as that. Bloody FB copied us Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’ve tried to stop people doing that but it’s an impossible task. I could just start deleting multiple for sale ads but can’t really be assed with the grief. Maybe I’ll put my big-boy pants on and use the delete key more.
