  2. Just what im looking for.. broke my JK mdf bed first time I slept in it..! sent you a PM

  3. Ive a full width one of yours dude but ive just fitted a second hand interior that needs a 3/4 width
How wide are your 3/4 width ones at the widest point?

  4. The 3/4 beds are 1050 mm wide plus he hinge sits out fire with the bolt so add another 20 mm to be safe I'd say. So max should be 1070 mm.

  6. Hi Rusty - are your full width beds best bolted directly to the floor / wheel arches or on top of a ply floor? cheers

  7. Rusty, sent you pm with questions about your beds.

    Thanks,

  8. Hi, can anyone put me in touch with Rusty as I need to order a full width R&R from him for delivery next week, sent pm earlier but no response!

    Thanks in advance...

  9. Wiz - he is around and will get back to you. He just has some stuff on at the moment. He's making a bed for me and was in contact at the weekend.

  10. Thanks Mabel he's been in touch, really like the look of these beds and how they fix to the seatbelt points!

Are you fitting belts? If so which ones have you gone for? Can I also ask what spec your having for the foam as I don't have a clue!

  11. I'm bolting mine to the wheel arches and floor as I dont have any seat bealts in the back (well there is one but I'm not sure how legal it is and its unlikely I'll have anyone travelling in the back for any length of time with both kids grown up now). Am using Ikea laminate floor underlay - the thin grey stuff - underneath 9mm ply flooring. I'm laying my vinyl floor down on top of this before finally securing the bed. Just then need to work out what seat cushions Im going for. Probably 3inch foam cushions on plywood with vinyl covers - have seen a supplier. just need to decide.

  12. It sounds like you have a plan, which is more than can be said for me! Just gone mad on eBay and purchased some stainless bits and clear indicators for Molly and she's not even been transported to her new home with us in Leicester...

I have seat belt fixings which is why I want one of these beds as it fixes to those points along with the seatbelts as our kids are still young and without them I would have to put them in a cage, thats a thought...

No I'm sure there's a law against that so it will have to be seatbelts for them...

  13. Ended up with 12mm ply sheet 1220 x 2440 which I can cut and fit to the van floor in three pieces. Am bolting them in tomorrow. Listen out for the swearing and nashing of teeth about 0930 - it'll happen, it always does.

  14. Just wanted to say that Lee sent my full width bed on Thursday - great comms throughout - arrived yesterday and is in the van today. Was well packaged and well built. Looks good too. Only took 10 minutes to put together and install

  15. Thank you Ian im glad your happy with it.i do have a little back order at the mo and i apologise for the delay to the peeps waiting ive just had a bit of family stuff thats taken over but im on it and back in the workshop tomorrow to start chipping awat at that list.

  16. Hi Rusty,
I am a classic auto trimmer based in the Midlands looking for a supplier for decent rock and roll bed frames. Would like to order a couple of full width T2 frames and am also interested in your T4/5 frames.
Please give me a bell to discuss or send me a contact number.
    Regards,

  18. I have a T2 full width - excellent comms from Rusty Lee, excellent value and only took 10 minutes to put together and 2 minutes to install. Highly recommended.

  19. Rusty,

What sort of lead time do you have on knocking up a full width bed? I'm just buying a bus at the moment, and at the moment its got a bench, which I'm looking to replace. Your rock n rollers look like some of the best I've seen!

  20. Hi Lee,
Lost your number and could do with a couple of beds (one is desparate if you are v busy).
