couldnt do without sky! even at their prices, like you all the discovery and history channels. and the sports!

  3. The price to watch a variety of channels is ridiculous. I'm on Freeview and get loads of channels. My Virgin Media cable is faultless mind, and have only ever paid for that. No phone line (use mobiles). Just use Sopcast C:) (for sports) and the other 'online players' (BBC/4OD etc) to view any missed programmes..

  12. I regularly have split screen or 3 windows open (Rugby - BBC iPlayer, Football - Sopcast, and Internet browsing like ebay/TLB etc). If I've got work to do, make that 4 screens ^-^

No lag, although sometimes I watch the football in Russian if I can't find a decent 'English' commentry stream.

rang them just, retentions dept not in until 9....the girl i spoke to didn't seem to care and said i wouldn't get far as i already got a great deal.......i asked how much for internet only she said £26 but maybe £22 if the retentions were in a good mood........ i think they will be getting the 30 days notice call later....... the problem is, i'm on cable with virgin, i don't have a B.T line so i'd have to pay for installation off B.T and i bet that's a few quid.

  17. we are on a m8 rate deal
best about it her that got us m8 rates don’t work there no more

  18. I wish we had cable down here my broadband line is crap. Keeps dropping out when the phone rings. Seems to happen a lot when the boys are xboxing. Just wish someone would dig the road up outside my house and knick all the copper cable so I can get new. I'm convinced it's where we've had roadworks recently out the front of my house.

  19. I decided to drop Virgin in favour of BT. I was paying about £45 a month for anytime calls and up to 20 meg broadband with fibre optic. Virgin phoned me and I ended up staying with them by reducing my broadband to 10 meg, but kept anytime calls and got free caller display. All for £27 a month? I don't have any TV packages, free view is enough.
Now I have received a letter saying they goin to double the broadband speed free of charge. I'm happy ::)
