GROUP BUY...Opening rear tailgate window..top quality, made in the UK

Some of you may remember Bluebird customs opening tailgate window for bay buses...really nice design, unintrusive opening mechanism, and easy to fit..Well, following on from a speculative chat with Foxy at dubfreeze, these excellent products may well become available again subject to demand...price will be dependent on numbers....obviously, the more folk that want one, the lower the overall price. If you're interested, reply to this thread and I'll organize it...I'm not on a commission...I'm just aware that set up,materials and fabrication costs can plummet dramatically when you make a product in sufficient quantities, so everybody benefits...I'll try to find a pic so you can see what you're looking at.
Think about it folks...a quality product,designed and made in the UK by a reputable company...it's a great opportunity

the very same...He reckons around the £200 mark...they used to retail for about £150 a while back...it's a really nice practical modification...didn't realise Dicky had already posted...we're joined at the hip you know

 

If other companies sell them for £400 to £450 then how come someone else can do them at £200? I'd guess they're not the best quality. Even the more expensive ones can't guarantee no leaks. I feel you'd be asking for trouble and lots of leaks with a cheaper version.

These opening windows are not the same as the £400 ones, they are a different solution, still good quality.

I guess these will be more than the old retail price because they are no longer made and this would be a custom order.

Cheaper isn't always poorer quality, if it a different solution, my friend has one (it came with their van) and it did leak until they cleaned the glass and rubber seal - they haven't had trouble since. I've been trying to buy one since seeing theirs.
