Hi new member and new owner as of next week just bought a 1976 orange and white bay body has had virtually every panel replaced about 10 yrs ago so hopefully all good there just need to liven up the interior and add a few missing items namely 2 bunks. Don't know if there was ever any, I think it's a Devon will add some photos later and also picking your brains for info on the 240v and the custard stirring gear stick.
Welcome from France, you’ve got the best colour. Plenty of info on hook-ups and gear change to keep you occupied for a few hours.
Hello Nick, welcome along! 0range and white Devons are the best If it’s a pop top Devon there probably should have been pull-out bunks from each side (I got rid of mine), but I don’t know about the Moonraker type. Look forward to seeing some photos. (The custard stirring gears can definitely be improved on!)
Welcome, the inmates are all quite mad, you know? But there's plenty of advice and expertise, on here
Hi My name's Bazza and I'm a Bay window addict, there I said it I feel so much better now prototype bay that is which is a proper bay
I’d also like to point out that he means all the bad bits. That’s what gets the juices flowing on here. No one wants to see shiny paintwork on here. if you’ve got a video of you removing the belly pans for the first time in forty years you’ll become an instant TLB legend. by the way. Bit of friendly advice. Be careful of being invited to an apparent gathering called TechEnders. It’s a scam. You’ll be lured to a field somewhere with the promise of bbq, beer and jovial conversation and whilst there the TLB will burgle your garage for parts. That’s how they’ve all done their restos so cheap.
its a pop top not the side hinged but cant see any of the loop hangers for the bunks ...saw a pair in another thread not sure if for sale i'll have to try and find it again
Not sure which type they used in a '76 as the fixings did change at some point. I think it was @Silver who had the Devon bunks potentially for sale (think it was a thread about Dormobile ones)
