late T3 or early T4

  2. I got a 2.5 TDI LWB for $4,500. 289,000 KM. 1999. minimal rust but some odd spots of damage. I will take it to the mechanic as it looks to have a coolant leak and a water pump belt that is snapped. I have not paid for it yet as the seller is happy for the mechanic to go over and check it out first. He said if I'm happy with the mechanics finding just pay him then and then keep it. It runs fine for a diesel.

    Anyone know what I should expect with a coolant leak?
     
  3. Anyone know what is should expect? I dropped it off to the mechanic this evening and am awaiting anxiously. Could this be a small fix like a water pump or would it be a $2,00 exercise?
