Anyone who has fitted Earz to their air intakes will appreciate their performance, what they won't like is walking into them all the time. I fitted some motorcycle screen trim to mine. It comes in different colours and looks quite smart too

 

performance .? you mean extra drag ?

 

i would take them off they will chuck even more water down your vents and more , watch out for swarms of bees too

Clip on bling. Seriously though I could do with a pair for my tiny early vents...

 

They will keep your engine cooler which is no bad thing, the Earz are from Just Kampers and the trim is from Halfrauds
I have had them over a year now with no problems at all in any weather

 

You say that, but by that logic they would have lowered them and stuck a scoobie engine in?

 

To be fair Petrol has changed a lot since then as well as oil.

They might. I could do with more air passing mine and a bit more +ve pressure in the engine bay might help? I've only got small vents.

 

There's a sq m of air per second forced past the cylinders and heads cooling them. I'd say that makes them air-cooled.
