I'm not sure how much you could command for them though, they wont be as durable in the long term so maybe £50 a set?

 

Im also in for a set and would want brackets with them too. Hope he can do it for reasonable money and make a margin as well then we will all be winners

£75 a set ...£50 a set what planet are you guys on .....the ones on the samba are $215 add brackets @ £10 each and rubber @ £70 /£75 Add postage your looking at £300 ish a set .......

 

I appreciate all the feedback on this folks.until i become a sponsor i'll keep a lid on it but they will coming to fruition in the next couple of weeks with brackets, i have a realistic and affordable price in mind after doing the costings. Thanks again.

 

I get what your saying hence hope I hope he and we can all be winners , I think £300 for a full complete ready to fit set may be about the money, We all know VW = expensive so it all comes down to supply and demand. I would love to pay jut 150 quid or so but the reality is its gonna be more, after all this guy is actually having to do it and produce them

£76.59 a set sounds good

Perhaps you could get cheaper brackets and rubbers, they sound expensive

 

£75 for GRP sounds fair; I'd be happy with double back sticky to fix on!

 

If you can make them for a couple quid go for it ... Maybe you have a free supply of stainless and free access to a laser cutter ,cheap TIG welder etc ...
I've made both and made less than min wage doing so ..
