"] I knew the rear inner was shot and I know it needs the battery tray and arch repair but this is a bit pooh. Was trying to get a ticket on it to get it aound for some resto work. Dont think this is an easy fix for mot - cant actually work out how it can be done as its in the recess where the chasis top panel comes out from the rear right chassis rail and returns downwards ie. where the foam engine seal fits. If you cant get your bearings from the pic its rear right looking fom the gearbox towards the battery tray (if you see what I mean). Not something I can do! anyone able to do this for me for next week!
that doesnt look nice Think you'll have to take the chassis top panels off to make a good repair of it
i had that on one side of mine. the repair sections cost loads so i bought some rectangle section and replaced it with that instead!
not good and not bad. MOT fail due to this and a couple of front cross memebr repairs (not difficult)
I'm not trying to profit from your misery, but I am breaking a van that you may be able to rob this bit off...just another option for you.
Easy fix Can of expanding foam Tube of bathroom sealent Cheap and nasty brush on underseal All can be had from poundland for about £10 Should be done from start to finish in 20 mins
my last twin slider had expanding foam inner sills when i bought it and it had been through at least 2x mots like that could you bend the tinware meeting bit (that meets the foam seal) up to gain acess and then cutout and plate with some 2mm plate for cheapest and easiest
