I think the Wilmas had something similar. Am I right @72wilma?

  3. Yup, can't remember the man's name, but it was made by a chap from his home somewhere around Hartford. Good strong canvas with good stitching. We used it for our elderly pooch (she was the undisputed Queen Bitch of the Northern Hemisphere to @Terrordales' Stoney (QB of the Southern Hemisphere) and it was fantastic for her. I'll try to dig out some pictures.

Well thanks a bunch, I got a bit carried away looking at this and I thought , I'll just see how much the shipping is. I've still got no idea how much shipping is or what it's costing in sterling, but, I've managed to order one.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,don't even know if I'm having a red one !

  7. Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "waking up to dog breath"

  8. It's says free international shipping when you go to the site so hopefully it won't cost anything lol

That's gonna look fantastic! A white Early with a late Devon roof with leapard trim on the roof and leapard front and rear bumpers, a bright yellow and white flowered canvas and now a red tent on the back.
It'll look like we got haemeroids.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,, how do I do these things ? :)

Hiya Mucka, I`m sure there are several places in the UK that do them. I thought I`d invented them myself years ago when I started conjuring up exactly the same idea and I was expecting to become a millionaire rather quickly, didn`t happen did it Rodney ;)
Don`t know if anyone knows but I`m an ex salesman among other things, so I fell hook line and sinker for the bit about helping downtrodden ladies around the globe to make an honest living and keeping them off the breadline and in some cases possibly off the street. I`ll bang up a piccy when I`m out camping with the complete ensemble, might look rather fetching but I don`t think I`ll lose my bus when returning from the marquis entertainment. I have just got to put some very very bright LED lights in the back bit so the red is all lit up :):)

Ozziedog ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, What could I put on a sign ? Ladies required,, no experience necessary maybe ?;):);)

Well it's turned up yesterday, so as quick as you like. Yes it is indeed bright red and it wraps up quite small , about the size of a Beano annual, that's for those old enough to remember getting them at the end of the year, I won't mention the four letter word starting with X and ending MAS . So we got it and it fits, now I gotta make something to lie on. It only includes the tenty bit and not the base or what holds it up or the foam. It appears to be very well made and it's got loads of flaps and mesh and stuff so I can play for hours with it.

    Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,, very excellent so far:)

Sorry Dicky, I've not got much of a clue with that sides of things, you know what I mean, things where you got to use your brains. I'm also thinking it might be better off if I don't know. Sooner or later it will be paid by pay pal, then pay pal will get paid by my credit card then my credit card will get paid by my bank, then eventually I will get a statement. If I get around to reading the statement, then I'll let you know what it costs me. Or I'll be wondering what the hell was that for, I NEVER spent that!;)
Or, Mrs Ozziedog will find it and say "What have you bought here then ?" I'll say, as I always do, nuffink I ain't bought nuffink, and in the immortal words of one of my top super heroes ''' Shaggy ''' It Wasn't Me. ;)

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,, I'll let you know if I remembers :)

Right then, I've managed to go on their website without buying another one
It would seem they only do them in red, however in the FAQs someone asked would they make one to match his Kombi, and they replied , send us an email? So it would appear that money May indeed talk. $249 I'm guessing about £200 but how much would they tack on for a one off in sky blue pink is anybody's guess. Worth an email and maybe mention the forum and that it may lead to more orders, you could mention that Steve in Bristol got one and was talking on the forum etc etc. Have a look at the how to videos for a laugh, the guy installing it in less than five minutes manages to forget to put the straps on, and the dude that makes his own base, well that is hilarious, he has enough hardware to sink the Arkroyal, his upholstery would make a blind man giggle, and he has made so much of it that there is no room in the back of his van for anything else like a sleeping bag or a quilt let only a weekends supply of Stella and ten pizzas twenty five burglars and a stack of mystery bags and googs.

Ozziedog ,,,,,,,,,, you still gotta make your own base arrangement :);):)

  17. I watched the gids and yes, i t hink a more elegant solution wouldnt be too difficult. That said its clever in that most folk with a bit of skill would look at it and think it could be done better by themselves so possibly wont put people off.

B interested to see how it perfoms in the rain as it looks a bit of a fair weather item to me. Could be wrong but it says its only water resistant. Might need proofing in some way!

  18. You should install the Paypal app on your phone. You can configure it to instantly notify you each time money is paid out.

Saying that, there isn't loads of anything flat. The sides are vertical and the top has a decent slope too. But, they seem to be in Mekiko and Californee so their experience of UK camping may be limited (none) . Maybe that's a good description then as in resistant, not much will stand up to UK howling wind with sideways rain, going home is then usually an applicable option ;)

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I'm a gonna try it some ;):);)
