The bus suddenly shook.. and this ..

 

Apparently their ignition leads (or at least the ends) are made of synthetic rubber and are coated in vegetable oil or similar to stop it degrading while on the shelf in storage.
Looks like only the outer 90 degree end boots where munched so hopefully i can just replace them instead of paying £45 for new leads. The wires unscrew off the ends like a bays leads which makes it easier and they've ignored the spark plug ends. I've sprayed those ends with damp seal spray anyway which stinks. I'll do the same with the new boots when i fit them.

Exchanges should still support pulse-dialling, as far as I’m aware. Good old POTS

Well, everyday day is a school day, I thought pulse dialling ended with all the media gateway stuff in the early 2000's, mind you it's been a while since I did telecom stuff. They're nice wall art too
