In support of non-lowered... however as a shortie (5'4") I struggle to get in and out of the cab without looking like an idiot. Anything I can add to assist a sleeker journey in and out?!
An EMPI springboard. It is attached to the door, folds out and lets you bounce into the seat. It is made out of thin sheet steel, works once then jams the door, while the departing spring knocks the teeth put of a passing Dominos delivery moped rider. The cardboard backing sheet and vacuum packing are in fact more substantial than the product contained within. It comes with a sticker "only for offroad use" and "The state of California has determined that onlookers may die laughing if product is used"
I lowered mine 1 spline and levelled it, it was what you did back then, the wife prefered it stock, I like yours as is, great looking bus.
You can get out backwards truck driver stylee Three points of contact for a safe exit. Same as getting in - only backwards if you see what I mean. Stirlingmoz
I’m 5.1 and mines stock and I’m going to copy @Ermintrude and say I also look cool as hoiking myself into the van. As ling as no one is within earshot and can hear me grunting with exertion
I really enjoy climbing in to drive it but I especially enjoy the little celebratory jump to dismount as I’ve completed another journey
Whatever, but don’t cut and twist the beam. Your van will end up hanging itself on the ball joints. Ok, if you want to keep replacing ball joints.
You need to buy a peasant to use as a step-up. They can also buckle your seat belt and close the door for you.
