  1. Hi M8, I need a complete kit of 6mm Fuel hose for a 1978/1979 Fuel Injected bus inc all the breather hoses there is also a 2" length of 8mm hose. There are something like 24 6mm fuel hose clips in each kit and 2 8mm clips.
Can you give me a price delivered for 2 complete kits? I intend to do a fully photographed how too and get it published in a couple of magazines as well as on this great site as it could benefit lots of owners.
There was a serious fire on a Late Bay this week in Swansea:-

  2. Hi chris

Do you have the big inline filter? Usually a standard fuel injection engine runs 8mm (7.3mm hose) and a small section of 12mm using 11.3mm hose. Can you just check what you are running if unsure. send us some picture of your set up / current fuel lines. We keep everything in stock so if you are running 6mm then i can make up the kit accordingly. our email address is peter@vwaircooledworks.co.uk

  3. On Thursday of last week I visited Pete to take him up on his offer.

Can not praise him and his wife more for the good work, the new premises and the hospitality.

As we'd been hit by a delay in getting the bus back I was running out of time to do a few finishing touches to May Bell prior to the planned maiden camping trip planned for the Friday. I asked if I could borrow a corner of the workshop to finish attaching the deluxe air vents to the door cards and to do a few other things. They were great and set me up an area to crack on.

Pete took me through all the ins and outs of what he was going to do, plus how the extinguisher worked, etc. He certainly knows his stuff.

I got the guided tour of the workshop and could see some of the work they were doing on other customers rides. Looks like they are going to be able to cope with a wide range of customer requirements from engines, to electrics plus body work and painting.

Not only that but the lovely Colleen furnished us with hot beverages. But the icing on the cake, quite literally, was being given a bit of Petes birthday cake. That sold me. Possibly one of the best sponges I have ever tasted.

I will certainly be going back for more (both work on the bus and cake!).

    Thank you both
