Well I’ve ordered satin paint and will be using a fluffy roller so it will have a slightly textured non shiny finish. It should help with blending the panels and any future touch ups Like this will do
Watch out with hammerite.. it hates almost any other paint....but you've done enough painting to not need to be told... Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
It’s not just that panel ☹️ I messaged him at the beginning of the year to wish him and the family happy new year.
Trying to look for positives instead of dwelling on negatives NATO green is a British standard colour so I’ll have no problems getting matching paint in the future
Dents that happen during use don’t have to be filled They can be brushed over once back home and called character
Well in reality it's probably not far off then. Daisey has done 30 odd thousand miles and is doing a restoration after 5 years.
Yes mine was painted nearly seven years ago, I have had to touch up the gutters, there is a small bubble or two under one rear light and a little rust in a seam or two but nothing like this.
Started collecting bits together for the repaint Bought 5 litres of thinners and some strip and clean discs I’ve also ordered a maypole cover.
Has anyone got a pic of how an original bus should look in this area where the sill meets the rear arch panel And at the other end of the sill where it meets the b pillar?
