Daisy 1973 full resto "5 years on"

Had an hour or so tonight finishing the fold on the sliding door and allso stripped all the bad cracked filler off wow Iv got some lumpy bumpy door to fix up it's a mess I'd say more than a day work but the gotta b done !!
It's was thick with filler all over the place

No rust just looks like someone has been playing squash up it but good ones are like £500+ so it's being repaired

I'm gonna have go with hammer and dolly where possible mate but not sure you will pick it on camera but I can just feel em I'll politics a pic up later

Spend an hour with hammer and dolly got it pretty smooth but most of it was round wher the suppers are so got it best I could and plastered the filler on and will spend a few hours with a long wooden block and some stuck on sand paper the weekend and get it pretty flat I think !! The good doors rhd r £600+ so forget that I'll keep eyes open for future but this is pretty solid now only the corner I repaired which is the best part of the door it's not that bad most of this will Sand away but needs must !! Better than trying to just do the areas that need it and blending it all in would take forever man not as bad as I 1st fort
Should get out riggers on this weekend and close to finishing all the body work this side !! Then for a little something different on the front (all will be revealed next few weeks )

I'm so excited to see thr front end mate!!

 

Busy few hours today got the b pillar/arch body work done and finished sill ect not that much body work this side left really ! Allso got the complete front out Rigga fully welded in and stone chipped allso cut out and prepped the rear one ready for it just to be welded in !! That's the main lot of welding done this side now bitvof body work next few days and doors on to the front ! Really getting on now

To cold for paint but just better than Bare filler

It is difficult on the drive mate - I used to enjoy it in a perverse kind of way but horrible weather lately ..
