    Heya
We purchased some original seats a few months back (not fitted yet) to replace the Porch seats that where in there when we purchased the van.
One of the reasons why we got the van is because we liked the seats but as time went on we became more and more into original and wanted to change them.
Anyhows.... I think we need the brackets that hold the seat to the bulkheads and just wondering if anyone has any?

I think only the passenger seat needs a bracket

The passenger seat needs the bracket to keep the back upright as there is no angle adjustment on the back rest and the seat doesn't slide. The drivers seat slides back and forward and the seat back is adjustable so it doesn't fix to the bulkhead.

That's the bottom bracket. Holds the base.

If the backs both flop down flat, you have 2 passenger seats Dean me old mate. No reason not to fit them, but the driver seat won't adjust like it should. As your Porche seats didn't either, I suppose you'll be able to live with that? Better would be to sell one and get a driver's seat.

  15. Here's some pics of what you need.

  19. Dean, take a picture of the backs or your seats and any other parts you might have acquired to fit them. This is by far the quickest way for us to let you know what you have and what you may or may not be missing

  20. If you've got a driver's seat and a passenger's seat, you'll probably need the runners which are welded to wheel housing. If you're lucky you might have '77-'79 seats which have the late style runner which continued onto the t25 and which jk still stock, if you've got the earlier seats you'll have to get a pair of runners from a breaker. Agree with zed, it does sound like you've got two passenger seats.
