    Working from 8 till 6 so no fun and then a short 200 mile drive over to newcastle for my granddaughters birthday tomorrow...oooooh the fun of a load of screaming 5 year olds to look forward too.

    Woke up at 4 am as Sarah is off to Spain for a long weekend. Didn't hear the alarm go off but woke up when she said I'm off now, go back to sleep! Lay awake til about 6 then slept til 8. Went to plumbers merchants then drove to Loughborough to look at a van for sale, put deposit on said van. Drove back to Sheffield. Did some pipework on a boiler I'm installing. Came home had a bath. Went to pick friend up and drove to Manchester to see Deep Purple (fab) and support band Europe (surprisingly enjoyable). Swore at the men behind who talked through the gig and kept saying how poo it was. I told them if it was so poo why didn't they just flip off instead of talking through the whole flipping thing (or words to that effect!). Drove back to Sheffield, dropped friend off, watched mighty Man Utd on recorded motd, now in bed still a bit wired but want to get to sleep :)

    Don't worry Mick that was the first thing Sarah did when she got back to Spanish home!! I've bought a new work van :) a Seat Inca :thumbsup:

    They sound like the same 4 blokes that were behind me at Roger Waters gig in Manchester, I told them to shut the ***** up, fight nearly ensued with the Mrs giving it the calm down calm down :D
    They shut up and apologized at the interval :thumbsup:

    :). I think they double *******ed me off as they v insincerely apologised to an older bloke a few down from me, that was the final straw!!! They did go a bit quiet (and the people around) when I told them to F off :)

    So far ... turned this "legless" freecycle heater into Tommy two-feet with leftover waste pipe.
    Yet another example of those "five minute" jobs that take an hour and fill my sad little life![​IMG]

    Getting ready to go to the boat after lunch for the night and forget the stress I've been through the last 2 months.
    Its only a night but will try and leave all the problems at home and try and switch off.
