Well that's an improvement on the fuel tank cubby hole - shame nobody's ever going to see it!

Well I am going to paint it but it'll be no work of art!!

@snotty - was there a serious reason to autograph the tank?

  10. No, only for future generations to admire ;). Like Michaelangelo...

I won some crazy cheap under seat mats on eBay last week.

It’s just painted metal under there at the moment.

Managed to fit the mat that goes under the drivers seat.

Small job but makes the cab area look much tidier.

Was about to fit the passenger side mat when Mrs S reminded me about the new curtain pole she’d bought, so in the interests of domestic harmony I fitted that.

The passenger side mat will have to wait for another day.

I know, I know but she did make me a cup of tea while I was doing it.

Only thing better than a nice cuppa is one I didn’t have to make.

The new but "sold as seen" compressor I bought at Dubfreeze finally works.
I had to replace the output regulator assembly as it was all made out of thin brass plated diecast metal which mostly snapped off in my hand..
. I used a regulator off another broken compressor I had.
I had to replace a pipe elbow on the cylinder head.. same problem.. amazingly the 1/4 NPT male x 10mm compression elbow I needed was listed on eBay as NOS...

Then found that the best thing you can do with the Lidl toy air tools is to turn the regulator up to max then they will fly quite a long way when you release them from the air line ...as they are plastic...

I will start buying proper air tools now it works.

And what did I do to my bus? I used the compressor and a tyre inflator attachment to go round the tyres on the bus and top them all up.
