looks like i'll be going to see them in action once all up and running. a client has invited me to their charity doggy christmas carol service too - told her i will probably just sob through it, "me too!" she said.

 

Just noticed this. Have you got a tarp? I’ve a few in the garage....

 

thank you - i should have a cover somewhere but not sure what state it's in - also worried about sealing in all the wet
will look to dig it out tomorrow - do you think i should cover it as much as i can now?

 

I fitted a proper Heat Exchanger Air Inlet Cover Plate on my lhs heat exchanger. It'd been rattling like a Illegitimate child recently so i guess the original must have come loose and fallen off.. or maybe there just wasn't one ?

I had lashed up a temporary fix last week to stop the rattles but it was nice to get the proper part on there and tightened up properly:

it's for a charity that trains dogs to assist disabled people. clever, amazingly wonderful pups. it'll be a whole box of tissues for me!

 

As a stop gap just to stop more rain getting in I would. Forecast to be wet tomorrow then dryer Thursday , Friday etc

 

some food then i'll go cover/tarp hunting in the sheds

 

I think @Barry Haynes can help you out if you're running short.

 

Stick an old blanket under tarp or you will risk scratching.......that's if you can reach !

 

Did it make a massive difference ...my pop top is bonce assisted ...and i have a set of new springs , but find the job looks fiddly and awkward .

 

They’re not in yet - still painting stuff. I’ll do a write-up when I’m done. We’ll see if they make a difference...

 

Sorry I wasn’t here to help but we’ve been invaded and I had to turn off , the crew as always have helped . Your a survivor and a doer . Getting bogged down is hard especially when the sun don’t shine , I miss the sun n warmth too in winter . Trevor duz the weva so dunt worry
