    If it is an original SU fuel pump they can be rebuilt very easily. It may only need the points cleaning and setting. The full rebuild kit comes with a new diaphragm which is the only perishable part really.

    Two steps forward, one step back.....
    You can put money on the fact Henry will be ready to collect this weekend, fully functioning, and raring to go for a drive....
    As of this evening I've got bloody COVID.

    Rarely, and only because I have elderly parents, plus someone at work who is classed as 'vulnerable'.
    I feel okay (no worse than I have done since before Christmas with this blasted cold bug that's going around) - I only tested because somewhere between my lunch and a packet of scampi fries in the BP garage on the way home, I completely lost my sense of taste.... and someone at work had mentioned their other half only just getting their taste back after COVID before Christmas. Got me thinking that summat's up when even scampi fries have no taste or smell!

    hahahahahaha I was waiting for some comment on my lack of taste (........usually relating to wallpaper choices!) :rolleyes:

    Watered down version of a red bus:p...hope you get well soon. Catherine is recovering from the big C and I've had all the; symptoms but did not test...go figure!

    And contrary to the above an 0range bus shows excellent taste, the inflatable Jesus you bought to Techenders once however is a different matter.......:D

    Fingers crossed Sarah that it's mild and doesn't linger - I won't say anymore about Long Covid :(

    Hey ho.

    The next in the series of very rubbish quality photos has arrived from Nigel the Morris mechanic (god knows he really needs a better phone camera!)
    We have door mirrors, a water temperature gauge, and a hazard light switch.
    Sure is exciting times :)
