Got the fuel tank hose on what horrible job even with firewall off and a cut in the floor where the hose connections are ,
I am sure if you looked for hose on line you would come across one with the correct angled bend in ..but its a shame that JK, Heritage , AH Schofields , Cool Air . don't do the correct part .
I think if the out let pipe on the fuel tank was just that bit longer the straight pipe wouldn't be so bad to fit .
I did what Chris did and cut an angle on the pipe which helped and shortened the pipe slightly so it wouldn't start to bind against the bend in the upper section of the steel pipe .

 

Worst job on a Bay. Have your arms stopped bleeding?

 

It's my neck ...yes they have bleed due to cut in the floor ...The swearing was ultra high volume .

My radio hasn't worked for years. I had to rewire it because the wire I used turned out to be copper plated aluminium and it rotted after I trapped it with the belly pan. PITA job with both pans off and much threading of wire under the van.
That's another long broken thing fixed.
CHT gauge is also working again on one side. I broke the spare thermocouple for the other side so... that'll have to wait.

 

Put an 'Organic' and 'locally sourced" label on it and they won't stop on the shelves for long.

 

Gave the roof a good waxing, in the futile hope that it may stay slightly cleaner.

Might do my legs as well this evening

 

They'll be silky smooth.
