The new rear bung design was partly based on a fragment of an OG bung I found embedded in filler when I repaired the skin at the rear.

the event was a climbing get together in a rally field, with a dj booked and marquee etc...
unfortunately licencing only allowed sound until 12 pm....

obviously the climbing community took it upon themselves to find the next best venue, and who wants to party next to a t5.

Took it up to SGS Aircooled, discussed all my confusing mods with Kev . He will be doing two jobs tomorrow..
1. Fixing an oil leak on a Morris Minor.
2. Changing my buses fuel tank.

 

Precisely my concern..

 

Since the work on the roof had been done anything connected to the leisure battery hasn’t worked so my bank holiday job was to sort it out. It was a bit of a mess behind the zig unit! Used the sealy automotive probe (
which I’d bought 5 years ago but never used) to track down the problem and I managed to fix it! Very pleased with my little self!

If you've got your drill handy, might want to move it over a bit so it's actually over the silencer, or it will likely cook itself again

 

My latest art installation. I call it "Bit Of My Rear Valence That Came Off In My Hand"

 

Drove to Lyndhurst where brand new gear stick snapped whilst parking up (lucky). The stick was suspiciously cheap!

Family nearby meant I could do the round trip home to fetch the worn original stick and it drove back home great, except we are back to fuzzy gear changes.

 

So the T2D Boot Camp finally came good ?

 

How did it break ?

 

Tight up underneath the upper pivot dome going into first. Gear changes were ok so my guess is poor quality part.

 

That does sound rubbish for what should be a solid metal rod..

Hope you get a refund.

Snapping a 10mm steel rod should be impossible..

 

Not EMPI by some chance?
