17/1800 are same internals/crank etc just b&ps different . 2l different crank /heads /rods . WO sameas 1700 but diff cam and highcomp pistons . I run two 1700s and they are great and a bit better on fuel than the 2l
Joker - 1955 wasserboxer crank conversion stroker from the lovely Laurie Pettit - Almost as cheap as doing it myself. Approx 100BHP so I'm not going to be racing anyone or breaking things on the strip.
Zed there is some guy over on Earlygay.com (sorry 8)) who is building an oxyboxer engine , which really apeals as its not just the usual assemble of parts
...and the fact they were only fitted to lighter cars so more suitable - possibly not so drivable in a bus.
