Type 4 1700 , why the bad press ?.

  3. 17/1800 are same internals/crank etc just b&ps different . 2l different crank /heads /rods . WO sameas 1700 but diff cam and highcomp pistons . I run two 1700s and they are great and a bit better on fuel than the 2l

    Joker - 1955 wasserboxer crank conversion stroker from the lovely Laurie Pettit - Almost as cheap as doing it myself. Approx 100BHP so I'm not going to be racing anyone or breaking things on the strip. :)
     
  7. Zed there is some guy over on Earlygay.com (sorry 8)) who is building an oxyboxer engine , which really apeals as its not just the usual assemble of parts

    ...and the fact they were only fitted to lighter cars so more suitable - possibly not so drivable in a bus.
