Black widow spider in the downstairs loo!

They don't normally bite and are considered non venemous, however they are incredibly aggressive especially the females.
Mine went all septic and yucky, probably not helped by spending 4 days in sweaty leathers immediately after getting bit.

Seems an odd treatment for a bite. Was there not some ointment you could've used?

 

A bite from a Huntsman spider on a human may cause some local swelling and a little bit of pain, but it would be gone within a day or two. But the Huntsman is very timid and way too scared of humans. Expect him to run away, and fast!

found some Black widows underneath my Cali Import bay, they got treated to my blow torch.
Was also bitten on my ankle whilst driving by something in this bay a year after owning it, it felt like a wasp sting but it lasted 5 hours! could see my heart beat pulsating like crazy on the bite, phoned NHS hotline and was told to rest with my ankle above my heart!

 

After @Top Banana Racing was bitten by the sweaty spider he turned into............
