  1. well that one was doing low 16s

Cam wise you probably want a web 494 or a eurorace II Grind either should give you plenty of torque and power through the rev range

  2. not one of these then...

    web
    163 284 x 0.500"
    86A 290 x 0.435"
    86B 300 x 0.500"
    86C 310 x 0.507"
    251 324 x 0.546"

    Eurorace
    std type 2 hydraulic grind
    std 914 Porsche grind
    C 270 x 415"
    E 280 x 430"
    G 287 x 430"
    H 286 x 485"
    J 300 x 500"
    K 300 x 530"
    M 308 x 530"
    N 306 x 540"
    P 316 x 533"
    322 x 560"

    ?

    :)

  3. It's all to do with lift and duration... you want plenty of lift, and less than 280° duration as it's a small motor

    web 494 - 280 Duration X .465 Lift

    Eurorace II - 281 Duration X .475 Lift

  4. So I'm digging this up again...

I have an 1800 AN code injun with big valves. Assuming the heads are all ok I'm going to take this up to 1911 with a kit from stateside, warm/hot cam and Paul's ex Fish exhaust to go in the crewcab.

    Stay tuned
    :)

I reckon I might watch this thread with interest & go get the 1800 AP series motor from the garage & into work & get some hints & tips from this thread

  6. I believe Playtex make a camshaft that both lifts and separates.
