    anyway can I just point out now i'm educated in the ways of the grammar police that how come Snotty which i'm guessing is a name so needs a capital, hasn't got one in his avatar? feel free to baffle me with the answer as although interested i'm non fussed.

    I hear where you're coming from Stuart! does it matter on a forum?

    My issue will be problems with writing a book when and if i get around to it. My good friend Chris Smith who is an excellent writer tells me my punctuation will have to improve so too does BayBirmingham and Bodyrock however, they all write emails or texts to me with grammar/spelling errors in them. This doesn't matter to me because the content is appreciated and after all it is just a forum or text!

    We also have to be mindful of the effect on a person's writing style that punctuation or grammar correctness can have!

    Well in all seriousness if I can read it without having to work it out then it's good enough for me, some of the posts on here are a bit hard to understand though, usually the ones with>>in them>>>(like you know)writes?

    serious question Time.

    Would all those who think they write proper like grammer, when stood standing having a conversation with some correct said person if they breathed at the wrong time so putting an incorrect pause in a sentence or used an F instead of a TH?

    Communication is an art in itself mate, i prefer to read your communication rather than pick over your grammatical errors - after all if you wrote nothing you wouldn't be here and that would be our loss!

    Sorry to pick you up on this, but "who's" is a contraction of "who is" (or possibly "who has"). The possessive form of "who" is "whose". :)
