  3. Pastel white over Neptune blue apart from the sliding door which is "not stirred enough" Neptune blue so slightly darker

Was gonna say the same Snots. For some reason I had it in my head you had a Westy. Lovely looking in any case. Hope you get the rot sorted mate

Tracked down a dodgy connection to an extra fuse box. The wire in question added confusion by starting near the main fusebox in a female bullet connector but actually having come unscrewed from the other fuse box. Half way along it is a Scotchlock.
So i had hunt the missing wire coming off main fuse box with a dodgy male bullet connected to ignition circuit.. no..never there..
    Broken Scotchlock ... maybe..
    Wire unscrewed somewhere else.... yes!
I am going to remove that wire and replace it with the simpler approach of wire from fuse box to destination...

  10. Thankfully, managed to catch the rot in time, although needs one new front step. Oddly, the other one's rock solid. Dodgy panels? Who knows.

  11. I'm still finding bits of glass years after the windscreen last did this. God knows where the bus is storing them all.

  12. Fitted last part of Buttys Bits throttle linkage. Simon gave it to me for free last time I saw him as it was a change in design - well pleased.

Discovered passenger headlight out but bulb was fine. Took me an hour of swapping bits about to notice that the dash bulb wasn't working either. Checked wiring diagram and discovered the fuse has got corroded. Cleaned up contact ends and all good. Note self to always check fuses first!

  14. What even with those wipers?

  15. Took bus to a friend of mine who has a car tuning business. After adjusting the timing and mixture he spotted that my left ICT34 carb was not supplying a vacuum to the dizzy. Tested right one and that was fine. Looks like I have a blockage on the carb somewhere. Connected vac hose to right carb for now. Bus runs noticeably better on acceleration.

  16. Why does it need two?

  17. Doesn't - one is blanked off normally. Just swapped the vac pipe to the working one.

  18. More progress on veneering ... doors are done so hopefully tomorrow will see them on
