About 120 miles, most of it wishing I’d bothered to crawl underneath and cut the cable ties holding the heater flaps open, bloody hot in a singlecab cab today

  3. Today fitted new front shocks, new steering damper, greased the front beam and cleaned the front wheels.

Gave mine a shampoo as well and a good rub down with the chamois.

  14. Steampunked my headlights (and cleaned up the lenses and reflectors, dealt with a bit of eye-socket rust, and replaced the rusty drywall screws holding them in).

Will have the space to start work on the project.

Now wish I'd found out how ours were held open in November ... Did that 780 miles with wadding over the dash vents and both 1/4 lights in full open bug catching mode ...

  18. Yesterday - took to garage and had CV joints replaced - one completely devoid of grease apparently!

Temporarily stopped using it as a 30 mile a day daily driver last Friday.
Topped up with petrol late last night. Loading holiday junk including inflatable canoe. Checked oil. Poked ignition wiring to check it stayed on coil. Gazed into the engine bay for a bit. Kicked tyres. Topped up water tank for if we want tea/coffee .
    Good to go tomorrow.

Will have lunch in 'spoons in Dorchester not at The Dorchester
