Honda S2000, Honda NSX. I keep looking for a MK2 Cavalier SRi saloon and they are starting to go stupid (not as bad as MK1 Escorts with BDA engines mind).

I have this one waiting for me to sort out the water pump and then use.

  4. I occasionally do welding jobs for the garage that does my mots when they can't be bothered. The worst 'modern' cars for rot imho are the Ka, the Fiat Punto and the Hyundai Coupe. I've had multiple examples of all of them. :)

Edit. How could I forget Landrover?
Defenders are rubbish but are an old design. Discoverys are 'modern' and are still rot boxes.

My first car was one of those only in white. Can't fault them!

I promised myself I'd never have another MG after I'd had a 924, better car in every respect, 944 better still and I did love my MGs at the time.

First gen Discos are definitely classics , they bridged the gap between full on utility of the 90/110 LR and the opulent Range Rover, really practical car capable of anything

  16. Yep. They still rust badly though.
I'm amazed how much range rovers are going for. A friend sold an LSE for £15k last year. Someone else I know sold a CSK for £30K!

  18. Fidel would've wanted you to have a Trabbi ;)

Having seen them in their natural habitat, I can confirm that they were utter sh1te, as was just about everything else in East Germany.
