123 ignition advice

  1. Just to add, I was asked what coil I had, when I told him I had a new Bosch blue coil I was told that would be fine...

  3. I've used Pertronix and Taylor on the Bug, but I am certain the Type4's lead lengths are different. Thanks, Paul, it looks like another case of pandemic shortages, perhaps?

    They are harder to use with different spark plug clips and larger diameter, but once you get used to them they dont go hard or melt as they are silicone not thermoplastic. They dont even react to burning petrol under them. I have used one set for years.

    You realise that we are going to be able to compile a long list of things that @snotty doesnt like ... And pile them up behind his fence until it falls over and they spill back into the garden..
