No being on your knees doing engine work and twisting your neck ...fuel tank off in a jiffy . You said it had servo fitted as an upgrade ..is the master cylinder now placed under the bonnet near the battery .
The original master cylinders are positioned inside the chassis boxing with an access plate on the drivers side floor a right awkward place .

Congratulations!, lovely outcome. My first car was a split screen Moggy Minor, SOX789.

More importantly @scrooge95 do you have some tan leather driving gloves with a cream mesh back?

I do and they are fab for all cold weather driving occasions :)

  5. Brought a tear to my eye that story. It also got an ‘Ahhhhh’ from Mrs Sydney.

I know exactly the type you mean! I think they will be quite the accessory to live in Henry's glove box :)

    oooooh they look lovely!
And definitely the thing for driving a Morris Minor :)
I decided to join the owners club so I could get some info on stuff, and find out about any local things going on... the drop-down box on the application form for 'Title' had the usual Mr, Mrs, Miss, Ms, but also had Lord, Lady, and Reverend! :D

I've also realised if you search for 'tyre pressures' on the MM forum, it's rather like asking 'What Oil?' on here :D

Great story. I used to work for a place in mill hill called Morris minor mania or such like. About 20+ years ago. They only closed just before covid as the guy running it retired at nearly 80!

There is another place in the same workshop called GDK Garages / market motors. No idea if they have any parts left. My job back in the day was to strip old scrappy minors.
