I’ve made a start on the front panel also removed the front roof rack Look at the state of the gutters absolutely zero prep in there before it was painted
All stainless steel fittings so no rusty streaks dribbling down the van for me Although I would like to replace the wooden slats at some point in the future because it’s only soft wood.
Really like what you have done there with the slats. What did you use? A lot more practical than the originals
The slats were on there when I bought the van Whoever had fitted them just screwed them straight to the fibreglass with wood screws There soft wood all I’ve done is painted them and used stainless coach bolts,washers and nylock nuts.
Got all the door shuts,steps and the rest of the cab including seat pedestal re painted I’m glad everything in there is the same colour now.
Having experienced how much work it takes to do just one cab door, I well and truly take my hat off to you ..brilliant work.
