    The food is well priced, the wine not so.
    Next to our table were Bonnie Langford, Debbie McGee, Lee Mead and some other people that I thought I recognised but couldn’t name.

    Have you folk with the dial phones got telephone locks too? My mum always kept one on and we had to ask for the key if we wanted to use the phone.

    Everyone had a telephone table! And a little pop-up thing with all the telephone numbers in.

    Both my mum and dad had their best Telephone Voices.

    We had one like that in the kitchen - endless fun watching the kids friends try and use it - typically stabbing their fingers in the holes, never working out you had to rotate it. :)
