More gutter repairs



He's bought filler, some of the paint, etc.

 

I'm waiting to see how he tackles the hinge side. It's usually the worst side and of course the poptop is tight in the way.

Work starts on hinge side today

 

For a change, some sections of previous repairs were not too bad (and hidden from view) so are being tidied up on the hinge side. There was still some replacement metal at the front and back though.

Next comes a splash of paint, starting with a freshen up of the pop top...

Rotten hinge mounts removed and new plates glued in place



Roof painted, pop top prepped for paint but still needing a few repairs first

 

Then the builder is coming next week to fettle the garage entrance so hopefully it can live indoors in future

And in other news the garage entrance has been enlarged and new doors are on order

 

Will he be painting the whole inside too? Thoroughly recommended.
